Dominik Fischer studied Business Administration and Engineering (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) at the University of Bayreuth with majors in Technology, Operations, and Processes. He conducted parts of his studies abroad at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia. Since April 2020 he is working as a Doctorate at the Chair of Information Systems and Value-based Process Management of Prof. Dr. Maximilian Röglinger (University of Bayreuth) as well as the Fraunhofer Project Group for Business & Information Systems Engineering. In his research, Dominik focuses on data governance and organizational topics in the field of Process Mining, such as event data preprocessing or Process Mining adoption. In his spare time, Dominik is enthusiastic about exploring unknown places and thereby filling his trip map with new pins. Side note: There is certainly still too much free space on the map!
