Tobias Fehrer obtained a bachelor’s degree in business information systems and a master’s degree in Finance & Information Management. Tobias gained practical experience as software developer, IT consultant and in SaaS sales at KUKA, Deloitte and Celonis where he focused on enterprise collaboration and BI applications, especially in the field of Process Mining. Since May 2019, he has been working as a research assistant at the FIM Research Center in Augsburg and has joined the project group Business & Information Systems Engineering of Fraunhofer FIT as a Doctoral Candidate in October 2021. In his research, Tobias studies and designs ways to automate process redesign using data-driven approaches. Being a passionate runner, he enjoys any marathon analogy in a business context, knowing that processes don't change from one day to the next.
